I don’t know about this, but I’ll give therapy a try.
Maybe you’re new on the job and HR told you to find a therapist. Maybe your partner’s on your case about how you’ve been lately. Or maybe, deep down, you’re starting to wonder if the job’s getting to you more than you expected.
Either way, you’re here now—sizing us up, wondering if this will actually help.
At Frontline Wellness & Therapy in Hamilton, we specialize in first responders and their families. We’ve been on the frontlines, too. We know the culture. We’re not here to psychoanalyze, we’re here to get you results.

Our Therapy Services
At Frontline Wellness & Therapy in Hamilton, we keep things straightforward, honest, and grounded in what works.
Individual
Therapy
For adults feeling burnt out, angry, anxious, or disconnected. This is a space to vent, process, and build back your strength.
Therapy for First Responders
Whether you’re new on the job, fifteen years deep, or retired, therapy helps you make sense of how the job is affecting every part of your life.
Couples
Therapy
The job takes a toll on relationships. We help couples move past resentment, clear up miscommunication, and reconnect.
Therapy for Spouses or Partners of First Responders
Being with someone in uniform is not easy. Therapy gives you the space to talk about how their career impacts your life, without judgement.
EMDR
Therapy
For those carrying the weight of trauma, EMDR helps your brain process what happened so it no longer feels stuck on repeat. We guide you through it safely—no need to retell every detail.

FAQs
Do you direct bill?
Yes, we offer direct billing for most extended health benefit providers. That said, not all insurance plans cover direct billing for mental health services. If you’re not sure, we’re happy to check for you. In some cases, your provider may require you to pay upfront, via credit card or e-transfer, and will reimburse you directly. If that’s the case, we can still submit your claim on your behalf.
Do you offer evening or weekend sessions?
Yes. Most of our therapists in Hamilton offer evening and weekend appointments to fit your schedule.
Do you offer emergency/urgent sessions?
Yes, we do our best to accommodate urgent requests, depending on your therapist’s availability. That said, we’re not a crisis service. If you’re in crisis or need immediate support in Hamilton, please call COAST Crisis Supports at 905-972-8338 or 1-844-972-8338. You can also reach Talk Suicide Canada at 1-833-456-4566—they’re available 24/7.
What are your fees?
Our fees vary by therapist and session duration. All fees are listed in our online booking platform.
- 60-minute sessions start at $180
- EMDR (90 minutes) starts at $225
- Extended sessions are available for first responders (police, fire, EMS) with benefits that cover longer appointments
Do you see people other than first responders?
Yes, we do! While we do mainly provide service to first responders and their family members (spouses, children, loved ones), we’re happy to work with you if someone on our team feels like the right fit.
