Entering into a counselling relationship can be frightening and feel like you are losing control. Gerald's approach assists you to regain your footing and to exercise your authority in making decisions, to finding a direction that is healthy, happy, safe and secure, and above all else meaningful.
Gerald obtained his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Social Work from prestigious McMaster University. He obtained his Masters of Social Work from Dalhousie University, and entered into private practice following his studies. Gerald is a published author, speaker and continuing education trainer.
Gerald specializes in family dynamic issues and topics such as:

- parenting challenges
- issues often before the court
He has 23 years of child welfare experience and 10 years of private practice experience. He has a broad range of clinical skills to offer to clients. He is straight-forward and honest - he is 100% authentic.
Gerald was a competitive boxer, and continues to enjoys daily runs and exercise, and spending time with his family. Gerald is an avid reader and researcher, ensuring he is up-to-date on the latest interventions and research findings. He is in the process of writing his second book. Gerald loves coffee and has a witty sense of humour.
